Job Title: Dishwasher

Department: Kitchen - AJW Commissary

Reports To: Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef

General Purpose of the Job

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the commissary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes and equipment quickly and thoroughly. 
  • Keep up with dirty equipment and dishware from daily production as well everything that comes back from parties
  • Place all the equipment back where it belongs
  • Take care of all the equipment and dishware to minimize breakage
  • Throw out the garbage and breakdown cardboard boxes
  • Clear the lunch line
  • Sweep, mop and scrub floors daily
  • Quarterly cleaning of hoods
  • Maintain cleanliness of larger equipment such as ovens and fryers
  • Other duties as required
