Warehouse Lead
General Purpose of the Job
This position works directly underneath the VP of Sales and Operations to provide support to catering productions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the operations department to ensure all necessary items and equipment make it to the events
- To maintain a clean, organized and efficient warehouse workplace for all
- Provide support when needed to Sales and Marketing staff with Equipment/service needs
- Support Fleet Staff with up to the minute reports on vehicles upon return from events
- Pull, prep, load, unload and maintain ALL equipment, large or small needed or required by Catering Productions
- Keep track of vehicle maintenance schedules
- Minor maintenance to facilities (i.e. replace light bulbs and other minor repairs)
- Keep track of building maintenance schedules
- Work events when necessary
- Other duties as required

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in an off-premise catering warehouse is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Fork Lift Operator Certificate
- Clean Drivers License
Other Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Patience to accept & process criticism from clients & managers
